les mis is such a noble, meaningful, and human story. it is truly bigger that what enjolras calls “our little lives”. it seems wrong to want anything beyond what the story itself gives you, or to ask it to be different. it even seems wrong to “ship” in a story like this … which is why i hate myself a little for falling in love with a completely non-canon pairing: éponine/enjolras.
